4Australia’s sole Jewels representative My Kiwi Mate is a $7 chance to win the four-year-old Emerald at Cambridge on Saturday.

The Craig Demmler-trained son of Bettors Delight warmed up for his grand final with an easy victory at Alexandra Park last Friday, outstaying his rivals with driver Tony Herlihy in the cart.

“Our horse will probably have to go forward early but if he can get handy I am pretty sure Titan Banner will come and put some pressure on. So if we can be sitting with cover on a really hot speed, that is what will suit him best,” Demmler said.

Field Marshall is a commanding $1.80 favourite with TAB.com.au for the Emerald.

The annual Jewels Day sees horses race for $1.2 million in prizemoney.

TAB.com.au has fixed odds markets available for all the finals and Sky Racing will show the first seven races on Jewels Day on Sky 1.
