GRANT DIXON

QUEENSLAND youngster Miss Moneybags will need to overcome a tough run to maintain her perfect record at Albion Park today.

That’s the call from owner Kevin Seymour ahead of the two-year-old’s Australian Pacing Gold heat.

Trained by leading horseman Grant Dixon, Miss Moneybags has won her three starts in impressive fashion, including her last two outings after sitting outside the leader.

Drawn barrier four this afternoon, Miss Moneybags is destined to fill the same position during the 1660-metre clash.

“She has drawn outsider her main danger, Thats Bettor, which will make it a bit harder for her,” Seymour said. “I think will be left out in the ‘death seat’ which will be hard.

“She has done very well so far, and has all the makings of a nice two-year-old, so hopefully she can continue heading that way.”

Should Miss Moneybags perform to expectations, Seymour stated the daughter of Mach Three will make the trip south to Tabcorp Park Menangle for the $350,000 Final on April 28.

“We will definitely travel with her if she makes her way through the series,” Seymour said.
