Leading West Australian sire Allamerican Ingot produced another Black Type winner on Friday night when exciting three-year-oldAmericanbootscoota took out the LuxemWestbred 3yo colts & geldings at Gloucester Park.

Allamerican Ingot a Western Hanover stallion has sired 42 winners 87 runners.

Americanbootscoota owner-trainer Dennis Roche put a not-for-sale sign on stable star and announced feature event plans.

Americanbootscoota, starting the $1.70 favourite, set a solid pace and scored by 6.6m from The Kings Assassin ($7.70) in the Lumex 3YO Westsired Colts and Geldings Pace (2130m).

Roche told the West Australian newspaper “I paid $10,000 for him and he’ll be staying with us,” Roche said. “I’ve been known to sell horses, but this one won’t be going on the market. He’s a very nice type.”

Americanbootscoota, who rated 1:55.2on Friday, has won six races and earned more than $65,000. Champion reinsman Chris Lewis, taking over as the gelding’s driver tonight, praised his abundant early speed.

Roche said Americanbootscoota would start in next Friday’s $100,000 3YO Westbred Colts and Geldings Pace (2130m).

“We’ll then look for other good races,” Roche said. “He’s developing into a carnival prospect.”
