An amazing trip for two to Mooloolaba is up for grabs this Friday at Addington Raceway in the world’s first Harness Racing E-Sport Catch Driver Championship.
Catch Driver is a harness racing game where players can race live against other players from all over the world by using their touchscreen mobile phone or device.
Catch Driver is now live in its new 3D version, which means players will be able to get closer to the action than ever before, and it’s all at your fingertips on your smart phone.
Following the recent trials at Addington Raceway, Catch Driver will be holding the world’s first ESport Harness Racing Championship this Friday oncourse with three heats and final to be held between races.
Run in conjunction with Addington Raceway and Harness Racing New Zealand, the Catch Driver team have finalized a live coverage of the game which will broadcast this Friday’s heats and finals.
Contenders play in special and exclusive Addington ‘game events’ via their phone, while the race is broadcast live on the Big Screen on the infield, and also on selected television screens around the track.
Three heats of nine players will be held this Friday, with the first three in each heat home through to the final to be held later in the evening.
The fantastic prizes in the Addington Catch Driver Championship Grand Final are:

Please note entrants must check in at the registration desk next to the Lanson Lawn by the birdcage area at least 30 minutes before their heat is run. Should they fail to do so their space will be taken by the next person on the waiting list.
It is also the responsibility of the player to ensure they have enough ‘Catch Driver Cards’ to compete in the heat or final.
Finalized times for the heats and finals will be made available very soon.
We are thrilled to present this Championship as an introduction to the Catch Driver game, giving the Harness Racing industry a world first and the game will be a regular part of the Addington oncourse entertainment options for race goers.
