Harness Racing Australia (HRA) and Harness Racing South Australia (HRSA) are pleased to announce that almost $6,000 was raised from the auctioning of the colours worn by each of the competitors in the 2015 TAB touch Perth Inter Dominion.
The interest in the auction was very high with the highest price being achieved for the winner of the race, Lennytheshark. Given that the auction closed prior to the race this proved to be a very canny piece of buying. The silks have been despatched to all of the successful bidders and are sure to make an interesting talking point.
HRA and HRSA wish to thank all of those who took part in the auction.
All of these funds are to be distributed to the harness racing participants that were affected by the devastating South Australian fires in the Pinery district.
