Victorian Lennytheshark will run a short priced favourite in Sundays Inter-dominion Grand Final after drawing barrier three. Trainer David Atkin could not be happier he told HarnessBred.com “he is spot on for the big one.”
Fixed odds have taken some huge bets since the market opened and the WA TAB worst results are Tasmanian Devendra and Lennytheshark.
Devendra was 250 to 1 before the series. and was originally first emergency, even 40 to 1 before the first set of heats was on offer , the Tasmanian has not drawn well but is now on the third line of betting.
James Rattray is looking for a hat trick of Inters wins after his star Beautide won the last two finals.
Rattray told the West Australian “ Devendra has gone to a new level here in Perth.”
“He has come through the heats well and will be tat his prime on Sunday.” He added.
Racing commences at 11,30am Perth Time on Sunday with four Group 1 races set down on the program including the Golden Nugget for 4 year olds.
