Harness racing driver Will Rixon is facing what could be his best season yet.
The 22-year-old is third in the NSW Drivers’ Premiership behind Cameron Hart and Rixon’s cousin Nathan Turnbull with 43 wins this year.
Rixon is also eyeing off a milestone with 400 winners within reach.
The Group 1 winning driver heads to Menangle today with 397 career wins and a strong book of drives to add to that.
Rixon’s first drive is with Suga Daddy in a heat of the Trotters Foundation.
He will then partner the Alex Alchin-trained My Ultimate Eddie in race two before jumping back in the sulky to drive Notmuchuptop in race four, Heavenly Belle in race eight with his last drive of the day on Im Presi Belle in race 10.
The iForm best bets for Tuesday:
Menangle best bet
Race 2: Tiger Tee (4)
Although first up handy back-to-back victories just before spelling suggests he will take stopping.
Menangle next best
Race 7: Morris Brown (7)
Never recovered getting it wrong when resuming but useful performances prior keep him in contention.
Around the tracks
Junee best bet
Race 4: Sylvia Kay (2)
Smart on her night and looks well placed from the low draw.
