After representing NSW in the Australian Female Drivers’ Championship it is back to business on home soil for top horsewoman Amanda Turnbull.
The 33-year-old finished fourth in the series that was held at Albion Park last Saturday night and has four horses nominated at Bathurst tonight as well as eight drives across the program.
Turnbull will head to Penrith tomorrow night for the TAB Carnival of Cups meeting where she has the drive on Naturally Gifted, the favourite in the $50,000 Renshaw Cup.
Turnbull has won the last three Renshaw Cup features with Stingray Tara last year and her pacer Ellmers Image in 2021 and 2019.
Turnbull’s grandfather A.D. Turnbull, father Steve Turnbull and cousin Emma Turnbull have all had success in the Renshaw Cup.
