Following a career-best season, young driver James Locke has started the New Year where he left off.
The 18-year-old drove 32 winners last season and has already landed five wins in his first 26 drives this year.
Locke added to his win tally at Riverina Paceway last Friday when successful with Crime Don’t Pay, giving him 43 career wins.
Locke heads to Canberra tonight for four drives including on his last winner, Crime Don’t Pay, in race five.
Locke will also drive Shesagraduate in race one, Fullon in race three and Full Of Wisdom in race seven.
Last season’s top NSW driver Cameron Hart returns to Canberra to drive in four of the seven races.
Hart drove four winners at Tamworth’s Carnival of Cups meeting on Friday before racing in Victoria on Saturday night where he won with Betterzippit at Ballarat.
