On the back of one of his strongest seasons Sydney-based reinsman Robert Morris has started the New Year in style.
Morris ticked off another milestone at Menangle last Saturday night when victorious with Wavethebill.
The pacer, trained by Morris’ wife KerryAnn Morris, gave him 1800 career winners. Morris began driving in the 2007/08 season and has been one of the leading drivers in NSW for the past several seasons.
Last year Morris finished on 153 winners and it was the 11th season in a row that he has topped the century mark.
Morris gets the chance to add to his three winners for 2023 at his local track Menangle today where he has six drives across the seven-race program.
