Menangle Park horsewoman KerryAnn Morris is starting the new season strongly with six starters at her local track today.
The 33-year-old won her third NSW Trainers’ Premiership, ending last season with 153 winners.
Morris won her first premiership in the 2017/18 season and was the leading trainer the following year as well.
As a driver, the mother of two is on the cusp of another milestone, heading to today’s Menangle meeting with 699 career wins.
Morris has two drives including on last start winner Queen Of Strathfield in race two and Parallel in race four – both of which she trains.
Some of Morris’ highlights last season was winning the Group 2 Carousel Final with Port Au Prince, the Group 1 Trot NSW Final with Dreambigaimhigh as well as qualifying Petes Said So for the Inter Dominion Grand Final where the pacer finished a close sixth in the Grand Circuit feature.
He then finished a narrow second in the Shirley Turnbull Memorial at Bathurst a start later.
