Young driver Hannah Rixon has had a breakout year in the sulky having driven a personal best 26 winners for the season.
The 21-year-old added to this highlight with her biggest win to date when winning the Group 3 NSW Breeders Challenge Regional Final with Paintmeareason at Newcastle last Friday.
This pushed Rixon’s career wins to 55.
Whilst studying, Rixon takes drivers where she can and in her last 10 commitments has driven four winners.
This includes the Cherry Festival Cup at Young with Smooth Baht and last Saturday week’s Menangle winner Artillery that rated 1:49.
Rixon will head to Menangle today to drive Fear The Eagle that is trained by her father Peter Rixon in race four.
