Mainly fine and sunny conditions are being forecast for Addington today with a predicted high of 17 degrees.

Gates open 11.00am with the first of 13 races starting at noon.

All ticket holders will receive a wristband on arrival, and if you would also like a card to share with your friends this will be available. Both can be loaded with money or topped up during the day, via one of the following 3 options:
1. Cash
2. Debit Card
3. Credit Card (2.3% fee will be charged).

Please note that you cannot use this card to place a bet. The TAB will only accept a Wayver wristband or cash.Please note there are no cash out facilities on course so be prepared and get your cash out in advance.

There will be Wayver staff positioned at the entrance and at Wayver stands on course who will provide assistance with checking your balance, loading and topping up during the day.

Upon leaving, any money remaining on your wristband or card can be refunded by the Wayver staff. Refunds are also available online until 6 December 2022, at www.wayver.io

Wayver will be used for all food and beverage purchases. You can bet and collect your winnings in cash from the Tote, as well as using Wayver.

We have live music from City Limits the ZM Public Village this year, plus a silent disco hosted by ZM DJ Clint Roberts. There are plentiful indoor and outdoor bar and seating options.

Ronald McDonald House is on course selling racebooks and St Johns selling Cup Pins – please support these wonderful charities.

The Crossing Fashion has a new home in the ZM Public Village, entries on the day are welcomed and we have 5 categories to choose from and $16,000 worth of prizes up for grabs.

Gate sales available for $60 and there are last minute ticket sales online.

The day’s big race, the IRT New Zealand Cup will be run at 5.36pm. It will be the 119th edition of the great race, and billed as one of the most open in years.

A Guaranteed $100,000 Pick Six will start on Race 6 at 2.30pm.

We will have extensive race by race coverage here at www.hrnz.co.nz as well as our social media channels – Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

Trackside will of course be broadcasting every race on Channel 62 with Marc Cookson, Nicole Sims and Craig “The Whale” Thompson among those who will be on course.
