Hunter Valley pacer Chappy Streetnorth will make one final bid for the NSW Breeders Challenge series.
The last foal to race by prolific stallion John Street North faces a heat of the lucrative series at Newcastle tonight.
Trainer Mitch Chapple gave Chappy Streetnorth a month away from the racetrack and the three-year-old bounced back with success at Newcastle on October 7, rating 1:55.5.
He drew barrier eight on that occasion and draws much more favourably tonight in barrier one.
There are three heats of the Breeders Challenge for three-year-old pacers at Newcastle and two at Riverina Paceway today.
