Two-year-old filly Studleigh Melise only knows one aspect in her succinct career and that is to win.

The daughter of Huntsville is unbeaten in her four starts to date and tonight faces her first major assignment.

Studleigh Melise will look to continue her strong score card in a heat of the NSW Breeders Challenge at Bathurst.

Trained and driven by Jake Davis, Studleigh Melise has drawn the outside barrier on the front row in the $9,9999 qualifier.

As for Davis, the 29-year-old is having his best season to date as a driver, having piloted 18 winners this year.

As a trainer, all of his victories have been this season where in his 67 starters he has secured 12 wins.
