No luck of the Irish here

Irish pacer Meadowbranch DJ travelled to country Northam for his first up run on Aussie soil in a race that one would expect him to win for a number 17 ranking in an Inter dominion lining up in a C2 event.

Not to be in fact the Irish pacer finished 50 metres from the winner  Foxy Dame.

Driver John Richardson’s tactics were queried  by stewards after he took off three wide and ended up getting posted there for the remainder of the race.

While in other Inters news For A Reason & Jason Rulz both had their first start for new trainers in the Don Randall Memorial Cup at Pinjarra on Monday.

For A Reason found trouble just after the start and finished back in the pack although making up some ground along the pegs in the home straight the final time was never a winning threat.

Jason Rulz, having his first run for” Mouse” Brennan made up  ground down the outside in the run home to claim fourth spot in a eye catching trial for the Inters which commence on November 27th.
