When Aldebaran Zeus won the Breeders Crown 3YO Colts and Geldings’ Final at Melton in November, he became the second winner of the prestigious Group 1 race bred and reared at Aldebaran Park stud, Nagambie.
He joined Kyvalley Kyrie, who took out the Breeders Crown 2YO Fillies’ Final five years earlier.
Both Australasian Premier Trotting Sale graduates, Aldebaran Zeus and Kyvalley Kyrie won Vancleve Awards for Trotter of the Year in their respective age groups.
The dual Vicbred champion Aldebaran Eve, Aldebaran Ursula (NSW Trotters Oaks), Aldebaran Crescent (Lyn McPherson Memorial), Aldebaran Misty (Vicbred Homegrown Classic), Aldebaran Poppy and Hotjane Bling are other Group winners bred, raised and/or sold by Aldebaran Park at the APTS sale.
