Officials are putting plans in place for Sydney-based horses that have been affected by the extreme weather conditions to prepare for the Bathurst Gold Crown Carnival that starts next week.
Opportunities for trainers to qualify horses for the series have been diminished and Harness Racing New South Wales is providing connections every practical option.
Nominations for the Tiara fields close on Friday and HRNSW is allowing sustained unqualified horses be drawn into the fields.
With weather permitting, Club Menangle will have specific qualifying and re-qualifying trials for horses on either Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday pending the weather conditions.
There will also be specific trials scheduled at Penrith on Thursday night to aid participants. HRNSW will make an announcement to participants.

Race 4: Surf Ace (10)
Took out the Star trek Series when last seen at this track. Looks to have a class edge.
Bathurst next best
Race 3: Angel Shark (5)
Takes on a smart one but gets the front row draw and her form of late at this track makes her a big threat.
