Group winning horsewoman Ashlee Grives will step out on track for the first time this season at Bathurst tonight.
Grives reached 700 winners in the sulky two years ago having scaled back her involvement due to motherhood and training thoroughbreds also.
The 33-year-old will produce her pacer Lavros Midas Touch in race six and Grives will be sporting the teal coloured driving pants, like all reinswomen in the state will do until March 15 to raise awareness and funds for ovarian cancer research.
Lavros Midas Touch has not raced since October 2020 and has provided Grives with three of her 262 trained winners.
Grives will also debut her two-year-old Meraki in race eight tonight. The filly is the first foal out of Grives’ former top race mare Ameretto who only had one other foal before sadly passing away.
