Leading Australian trainer Ben Yole had a day out at the New Norfolk Pacing Cup meeting in Hobart, preparing six of the seven winners, the third time he has achieved the feat.

The winning hull included the feature race, the $14,000 Paulys Pizza New Norfolk Pacing Cup, with the well-travelled Where Ya Bin.

Driven by concession reinsman Bronte Miller, the $15 (in from $26) chance galloped out before settling one-out and three-back near the 1800m in the 2579m event.

Miller was able to follow Colby Sanz into the race before pealing off that pacers back in the home straight to go on and score by 1.5m over Colby Sanz ($19) and Kardesler ($19) back in third spot.

“It played out quite well, and he was feeling well coming into the last corner, and I was confident he was going to run top five, but winning is even better,” said Millier post-race.

Trainer Ben Yole was full of praise for Miller.

“She is a young girl having a real go, and we love it when she drives a winner,” said Yole.

The win was not a surprise for the trainer.

“He has been very good since he came from Victoria, and he had pretty good stand form and long-distance form in WA, so we expected him to run a good race, he just needed the luck to go his way, and it was a perfect drive,” explained Yole post-race.

Where Ya Bin started his racing career in New Zealand under the care of Mark Purdon and Natalie Rasmussen where he scored in one of his three starts.

He then went to the stables of Greg and Skye Bond in Western Australia. The pacer then arrived in Victoria last year for Ann-Jeanette and Beau Tindale, before ending up with the Julie Douglas stable.

The win was the second in a row for Yole in the New Norfolk Cup, preparing last year’s winner James Dean.

Yole’s other winners on the card included; Heidi Go Seek ($5.00 to $8.00), Captain Cosmonaut ($16 to $20), Raffas Ace ($5.50 into $4.00), Brian Who ($8.50 to 9.50) and Ultimate Me ($12 to $9.50).

The only horse he didn’t prepare to win on the program was Offthetopofmyhead ($4.20 into $3.90) in the fourth race
