A group of young drivers will be vying for success in tonight’s feature event at Bathurst.
The race is the Star Trek Final, with each horse qualifying in heats at Bathurst last week for the $14,994 event.
One of those young drivers is 18-year-old Jake Bigeni.
A veteran of eight wins to date, Bigeni will drive the Trevor Munday-trained Mustang Milly for the first time.
The pacer was driven by Jack Brown when finishing fourth in her respective heat last week, however, Brown will be taking the drive on the Jack Trainor-prepared Werent Watching.
Trainor qualified two horses for the feature and will drive his other pacer Surf Ace. A
nother young reinsman to secure a drive in the feature is Lucas Rando.
The 19-year-old will be looking to add to his six winners when driving the Debra Holt-trained Most Happy Cullen.
Rando drove the gelding when finishing second in their respective qualifier for this race last week.
