Ticket To Heaven, a son of No Nukes,was purchased by the late Leigh Plunkett bought Ticket To Heaven direct from the US.

Plunkett and his wife Donna established Berriedale Stud in 1990.standing Meadow Fella  as  their first stallion producing the Sires Stakes winners Dancing Fella and Carla Ross but it was Ticket To Heaven that put Plunkett on the map as a studmaster.

The stallion had served one small crop of mares in America, producing eight winners from only 14 foals. One of his US progeny has won in 1:52 and two in 1:55.

By No Nukes from the an Adios line mare called Sabel Collins, Ticket To Heaven won 26 races from  71 starts. Including a New Jersey Sires Stakes during the fall of 1988a race that has since been won by the likes of Presidential Ball, Precious Bunny and Always A Virgin.

Ticket To Heaven sired 152 winners from  232 starters but as a broodmare sire he 97 winners from 170 to grace the track.

Dual inters winner Beautide heads the list with winnings of over $2million dollars, Shez Ryleymak $270K Tasmanian Oaks winner, in fact Ticket To Heaven is the broodmare sire of 13 $100k plus winners.

Ticket To Heaven has become through his daughters has become a true bred shaper in this country.
