Talented filly Ballerini will be out for redemption against her older rivals at Dubbo tonight.
The Bernie Hewitt-trained three-year-old will face more seasoned horses in the Group 3 Red Ochre Classic.
She finished fifth in her heat last week after breaking and just qualifying for this $30,600 feature.
Ballerini will start from outside the front row.
Bathurst horsewoman Amanda Turnbull has two chances in the race with Sweet Heaven (three) and Fasika (seven).
Turnbull will drive the latter after finishing second in her heat while her stable foreman Isobel Ross, the defending champion of the race, will drive Sweet Heaven who won her heat last week with Turnbull at the reins.
Turnbull’s father Steve Turnbull has the ever-consistent Myra Dawn in the race.
The 12-time winner will be driven by Mitch Turnbull who was involved in a race fall at Bathurst on Wednesday, however, escaped injury and could fulfil the remainder of his drives on that program.
