Wayne Hill has made a life out of travelling the nine-hour round trip to Mildura on a weekly basis for a strong book of drives in the Sunraysia.
The star South Australian reinsman is a regular border-hopper into Victoria and sits seventh on the list of most successful drivers at the track during the last 12 months.
He has 23 wins and 61 placings at Mildura across the last year, and will be out to build on his record with seven engagements this evening.
Of those, he identified runners for Anthony Schembri and Scott Garraway that he felt stood out above the rest.
