In what will be his third run since spending 18 months on the sidelines, Shadow Sax has been nominated for Saturday night’s South Australia Cup at Globe Derby.
The Matthew Craven-trained gelding is one of 28 nominees vying for a berth in the Group Two.

Smoken Up also joined Gammalite as the only four-time Cup winner, with the latter proving too good in 1982, ‘83, ‘84 and ’85,
As for Shadow Sax, he was successful in 2018 when prepared by record-breaking horsewoman Emma Stewart.
