The 2021 Silver Salver South Australian Yearling Sale, to be conducted by Harness Racing SA and SA BOTRA, will be held at Globe Derby Park on Sunday, March 14. The sale will follow the Hygain parade at 12 noon.

The sale comprises 22 lots by 19 different stallions including the established sires Roll With Joe, Sportswriter, Sweet Lou, Well Said, A Rocknroll Dance, Shadow Play, Grinfromeartoear,  Betterthancheddar and Follow The Stars.

Young, emerging sires represented include Betting Line, Downbytheseaside, Huntsville, Major Secret, Goodtime Sammy and Lennytheshark.

There’s siblings to a host of handy pacers such as Amightyfinehorse, Jumping Jolt, Milliondollar Kiss, Kissed By A Shark, Artichoke, Style Queen, The Sneaky Fox and many more.

Yearlings are eligible for the $50,000 Silver Salver sales graduate races for colts and fillies, the Southern Cross, Vicbred, Vicbred Platinum, Breeders Crown and the Bathurst Gold Crown.

Furthermore, SA BOTRA is providing an additional $30,000 in cash bonus incentives with $15,000 to the first SA born filly and $15,000 to the first SA born colt/gelding. These incentives will be paid to the horse who finishes first past the post in the finals (a new RACE within the RACE format).

All owners of participating horses must be fully paid up BOTRA members to receive these bonuses.

SAMOS certificates valued at up to $1,600 can be used to purchase one of the seven fillies to go under the hammer.
