The Kerry Clarke 4&5YO Classic is the feature event on the 10 race card tomorrow night. Hear from all the key contenders in each race below.
RACE 1 – BETTER YOUR BET WITH TABTOUCH 2YO PACE
1.Gary Hall Jnr (Soho Gigolo): “I don’t know what Glenn wants to do. I thought we might be happy to sit on the two. He might tell me to lead though.”
2.David Thompson (Otis): “His work has been really good. I can’t come up with a reason why he won’t be really hard to beat. I think they’ve been happy to follow on Soho Gigolo.”
4.Aldo Cortopassi (Our Shelley Beach): “Driven him in a few trials. Seems to be doing not a bad job.”
5.David Thompson (Rocknroll Elliot): “I was a bit surprised he went as well as he did (last start). I like him. He’s come a long way this prep. I expect him to go well.”
6.Colin Brown (Arma Einstein): “Tricky draw. He’s tracking well. There’s a fair bit of speed. He was three deep from the 1200 and won last start. That’s not his only asset though. We’ve got options.”
7.Chris Voak (Star Of Willoughby): “Ordinary draw. Will need some luck but can salute the judge.”
8.Shannon Suvaljko (Robbie Rocket): “Nice colt. He’s been flying. He hasn’t had much luck in big races. He will run a race.”
9.Aiden De Campo (The Good Life): “Showed his potential last time out. Expect him to run a good race.”
10.Lindsey Harper (Eldaytona): “Up in grade. He was good first-up. He’s probably a horse of the future. Barrier doesn’t really help him.”
RACE 2 – BETTER YOUR INDUSTRY WITH TABTOUCH 3YO FILLIES PACE
1.John Graham (Miss Eerie): “Went well last week. Fought on well. We will try and hold up. We were keen to hold up last week and wait for Alta Blues to come around. She will be hard to beat on leading.”
3.Emily Suvaljko (Rockin The Trend): “Racing very consistently. I would say we would be coming across them early and looking for cover. Wouldn’t surprise me if she found herself in the top five.”
5.Shannon Suvaljko (Red Hot Lady): “Going well. Can lead and be hard to beat in this.”
6. Michael Grantham (Miss Lamarr): “Going well. Awkward draw but definitely a place and winning chance.”
8.Jocelyn Young (Blockjorg): “Draw hurts but she’s more than capable of a top three finish.”
9.Colin Brown (Fifty Five Reborn): “Might find it tough from the draw. Worked well but wasn’t brilliant with her brother Arma Einstein. Good place chance from the draw.”
10.Colin Brown (Farawayeyes): “Has the draw. Isn’t suited to working early. Great odds for a place.”
11.Deni Roberts (Soho Major Player): “Nice trailing draw for this filly after a luckless run last start.”
12.Chris Voak (Askmeilltellya): “Looked to hit the line well last week. Gets a nice trailing draw. Good each way hope on previous performances.”
RACE 3 – OFF THE TRACK MORE THAN JUST A RACE HORSE PACE
1.Kyle Harper (Allwoods Rocknroll): “Went alright at Kellerberrin. On the way up and good each way claims. I’ll leave the options open.”
3.Aldo Cortopassi (Art Tutor): “Thrives on doing the hard yards. I see the two rolling to the front. We will go to the breeze and rate his own race from there.”
4.Chris Voak (Boom Time): “Tricky draw. Stablemate looks hard to beat. Can win if he settles close to the leaders.”
5.Emily Suvaljko (Caruba): “Believe she is back racing to her best. Tricky draw so will more than likely be driven cold early and then come with one late run.”
6.Deni Roberts (Ignite The Passion): “Draw hurts for this horse. Will be driven with a sit and looking for gaps late.”
7.Jocelyn Young (Regal Ambition): “Bad draw. Hit the line well last start.”
9.Shannon Suvaljko (Whoswhointhezoo): “Racing well. Bad draw so will drive quietly. Will run on.
11.Gary Hall Jnr (Blue Blazer): “The two looks hard to beat. Should get a good run which could put us one-one on Art Tutor.”
RACE 4 – COMMUNITY TAB PACE
1.Maddison Brown (Jilliby Jake): “We’ll try and hold up as it’s a pretty even race. If we can get away without doing too much early he’s a definite each-way chance.”
3.Chris Voak (Madame Meilland): “Hasn’t replicated her best form. I think she’s building to peak fitness. Expecting improvement on her last run. Could be one to follow in the coming weeks.”
4.Shannon Suvaljko (Twentynine Twelve): “Going well. Difficult draw this week. Will run on.”
6.Gary Hall Snr (Tuas Delight): “Each way chance. Will need luck from the draw.”
8.Kyle Harper (Black Jack Zac): “Barrier not in our favour. Racing well and with speed on he’s an each way chance.”
10.Deni Roberts (Ideal Investment): “Perfect draw for this horse behind a likely leader. Will be looking to see where he’s at after a short let-up.”
11.Gary Hall Snr (Our Rhythm N Blues): “Should be in the money somewhere.”
RACE 5 – BETTER YOUR CLUB WITH TABTOUCH PACE
1.Michael Grantham (Happy As): “Good chance to earn from one. Not sure if the two will run to the front. We will hold up early and asses from there.”
3.Shannon Suvaljko (A Boy Named Rosie): “Needs a bit of luck in his race. This race suits. Can win.”
4.Chris Voak (Qtown Rip Roaring): “Suitable race for him. Good each way chance if he can settle close to the lead.”
5.Emily Suvaljko (Talkerup): “I didn’t think her last run was that bad based on the sectionals they ran. Will be looking to go forward and see what kind of position she ends up in. With the right run she can play a part in the finish.”
7.Matt Scott (Clarenden Hustler): “Going to struggle from the draw.”
8.Gary Hall Snr (Extreme Prince): “He’s not going as bad as the form looks.”
9.Kyle Harper (Charlie El): “Not favoured by the draw.”
10.Jocelyn Young (Has No Fear): “Patiently waiting her turn. Each way chance with some luck.”
12. Aldo Cortopassi (Naval Aviator): “Not a bad race for him. Should get a soft run from the draw. Tony’s (Svilicich) horse may go forward and put some pace in the race.”
RACE 6 – THE KERRY CLARKE 4&5 YO PACE
1.Jocelyn Young (Pierre Whitby): “Racing very well. Each way.”
3.Chris Voak (The Verandah): “Never driven the horse but he looks to be going well enough. I think While They Pray will potentially set a solid tempo which will suit him. Good place hope on paper.”
4.Shannon Suvaljko (Rock Me Over): “Good draw for him. Will drive with confidence and be hard to beat.”
5.Gary Hall Jnr (While They Pray): “Last start he got keen in the breeze. Tried to hold him because I thought he was going faster than what he was. We will come out hard and keep pressing.”
7.Deni Roberts (Henwood Bay): “Horse is in career best form but the draw hurts this week. Will be relying on genuine tempo up front to bring him into it.”
9.Emily Suvaljko (Euphoric Moment): “This horse is crying out for a barrier. Will go back from the wide gate and will drive him according to the tempo of the race.”
RACE 7 – DOWNLOAD THE TABTOUCH APP TODAY PACE
1.Jocelyn Young (Bracken Sky): “Should play a part in the finish. Had no luck last start.”
2.Lindsay Harper (Thereugo): “Think I can cross the one. He’s probably better drawn out over the 2100 in five or six. He improved second-up. Feel he probably needs another run. If we lead and get a cheap quarter he could run a race.”
3.Gary Hall Snr (Robbie Easton): “Think the two will lead. Hopefully we will sit outside and be too good.”
4.Gary Hall Snr (Mister Bushido): “He’s a chance. Running good races.”
5.Emily Suvaljko (Bad Round): “This horse is currently racing in his best form. There’s a few handy horses in this race but with a bit of speed this horse can be a top five contender.”
7.Deni Roberts (Destined To Rule): “Racing consistently. Not a great draw in seven but will be powering home late.”
8.Chris Voak (Stroke Of Luck): “He has performed strongly since coming west. Ordinary draw but has the class to overcome it.”
9.Shannon Suvaljko (Lightning Jolt): “Bad draw. Will run on.”
10.David Thompson (Machs Gold): “Dylan will have some decisions to make. Whether he stays on the rails or comes off. It’s a beautiful draw because he gets to make those decisions.”
RACE 8 – TABTOUCH GIDDY UP PREMIUM FORM PACE
1.Chris Voak (Kiwi Bloke): “Not sure where the horse is at. On his best form he would be hard to beat in this race.”
2.Shannon Suvaljko (Perlee Gates): “Good draw. Can run a race in this, especially a place.”
4.Michael Grantham (Major Shard): “Meant to go to Kellerberrin for his last run. His run last start I thought was the run of the race. He could be my winner on the night.”
6.Deni Roberts (Maximum Demand): “Looks a really good race for this horse. The stand and distance will suit. If he can get the nice peg run through the I think he’s a good each way chance.”
8.Gary Hall Jnr (Rebel With A Grin): “Drove him when he ran fourth. Got away well but just ended in a bad spot. Hopefully we can settle in a better spot.”
RACE 9 – TABTOUCH REPLAYS PACE
2.Gary Hall Snr (Ideal Liner): “He will go three back on the fence. He’s taken time. Bit big in condition.
3.Chris Voak (Bettor Party): “Has improved of late under Giles Inwood. Can’t see him beating Chicago Bull if we started now. That being said, I don’t think he will run last.”
5.Shannon Suvaljko (Tommy Be Good): “Drop in grade last week helped. Back to FFA company but will run a race again.”
6.Gary Hall Snr (Chicago Bull): “Going really well. I reckon he will get the top.”
RACE 10 – TABTOUCH FILLIES AND MARES PACE
1.Shannon Suvaljko (Our Amazing Grace): “Good draw. Can run a place with a good trip.”
3.Aiden De Campo (Mandy Joan): “Racing really well. Has the draw advantage on her main rivals. Will take advantage of that.
4.Kyle Harper (Parisian Partygirl): “Racing well. Hard to leave out. Awkward draw but with pace on she can be dangerous.”
5.Gary Hall Snr (Fake News): “Going well and working well. Hard to sit outside Mandy Joan and beat her though.”
6.Gary Hall Snr (Just Rockon Bye): “Going well too and will have the last crack at them.”
