Smart pacer To Fast To Serious has scored his third win from four starts this campaign with another strong performance in the Sign Strategy Pace (2692m) at Pinjarra yesterday.
Already a Group 1 winner as a two-year-old, To Fast To Serious showed an abundance of ability to loop the field on the final lap and score a comfortable win.
Driver Aldo Cortopassi settled at the rear of the field with the four-year-old and made a sustained move three-wide from the 600m mark to wear down leader Manifestly Excesiv.
The 2018 2YO Westbred Classic winner, now trained by Ray Williams, ran home in a scintillating 54.8 and rated 2.00.8 for the mile in one of his finest performances in his 13 start career to date.
Cortopassi and Williams will team up with exciting three-year-old Magnificent Storm in tonight’s Perth Plasterboard Centre 3YO Pace (2130m) at Gloucester Park.
Magnificent Storm has taken all before him in three starts this campaign winning by a combined margin of 48.2m.
Elsewhere, Queen Shenandoah continued her winning ways in the Huckleberry’s Tank & Water Service Pace (2185m).
The mare followed up her surprise win at Gloucester Park on May 29 with another good performance rating 1.57.3 in 5.7m win.
