Rescheduling of Port Pirie Cup
As a consequence of the restrictions now in place resulting from the coronavirus outbreak, the Port Pirie Pacing Cup, the Port Pirie Derby and the Port Pirie Trotters Cup have been deferred until, a yet undetermined date. The race meeting scheduled for Port Pirie on Saturday March 28th will still continue, however with amendments to the programme. These will be advised later today.
In making this decision HRSA is mindful that the Port Pirie Club relies heavily on the public support received at their cup meeting, however with the current COVID-19 restrictions prohibiting public attendance, the outcome for the club should they have conducted their cup at this time would have been poor.
An announcement as to a revised date for the above mentioned feature races will be made at a later date.
