If you missed out in Melbourne or Sydney don’t despair, you still have a chance to buy your future champion this Sunday at the 2020 Allwood Stud Farm South Australian Yearling Sale.

The organisers of the Adelaide sale have gathered yearlings by the world’s leading sires in Captaintreacherous, Art Major, Bettors Delight, Roll With Joe and Sweet Lou.

Plus yearlings by up and coming sires like Sunshine Beach and A Rocknroll Dance.

Speaking of Sunshine Beach, one of South Australia’s leading breeders Peter and Lesley Medhurst have nominated two colts for the sale, one by Sunshine Beach out of Crown Of Thorns making this colt a half-brother to 20 time winner Crowning Glory and recent winner Crown Royale.

The Medhurst’s other colt (Lot 8) is the first live foal out of the Live Or Die mare Floral Touch. These two colts give buyers a unique chance to tap into one of the best bloodlines in the state. The Medhurst’s rarely sell any of their stock opting to race them instead.

Lot 7 is a filly by Tintin In America and we all know what his females have done with Shartin being crowned US Horse of the Year and the unbeaten Perth filly Lady Jadore.

This sale has something for everyone and everyone’s budget.

It was exciting to hear this morning news from Harness Racing SA, that as well as all 35 lots being eligible for the Group 1 $100,000 race known as The Allwood next year, this year’s sale entries will also have access to the `Allwood Stud Farm Futurity’. This race being conducted in August 2021 and being exclusive to only those yearlings passing through the sale ring.

The Allwood Stud farm SA Yearling Sale must be the best value sale down under.

The day will start with a free breakfast between 8.30 and 9.30 with thanks to BOTRA, the Hygain Parade starts at 10am and the first yearling will enter the ring at Magic Millions Complex at 12.05pm.
