The Victorian harness racing industry fundraising effort to support Gavin Lang and his family during his current health battle has eclipsed the $100,000 target, with Trots Clubs Victoria (TCV), Harness Racing Victoria (HRV) and Tabcorp Park today announcing a combined contribution of $12,000.
Today HRV revealed that $5000 was raised through merchandise sales and Tabcorp Park Melton’s raffle at the Summer of Glory, while Trots Clubs Victoria has contributed $7000.
“This is one of the many great things about our industry – how people rally around one of their own,” TCV CEO Carl Coady said.
