A half-brother to unbeaten youngster Keayang Ignite, a stunning colt out of a sibling to the Group winning star Cold Sister, a colt from the Derby winner Jingling Silver and a half-sister to the Breeders Crown champion Kyvalley Kyrie headline the Aldebaran Park draft for the Australasian Premier Trotting Sale to be held at Oaklands Junction on Sunday.

Keayang Ignite, who is undefeated in four starts including the Group 1 $50,000 Vicbred Platinum Home Grown Classic, has a half-brother, Aldebaran Boyd, listed for sale as Lot 268. The colt was sired by the brilliant, young Muscle Hill stallion Aldebaran Eagle, who stands stud at Aldebaran Park, and is one of his first crop.

The first of the Aldebaran Park draft to enter the ring is Lot 254, Aldebaran Spirit, a bay colt by the champion European sire Love You out of Yankee Sister, a half-sister to the cups winning trotter Cold Sister Tr 1:57.2 ($262,321) and the Kentucky Sires Stakes champion Dancing Filly Tr 1:56.2 ($425,863).

Lot 280, Aldebaranspartacus, is a brown colt by Aldebaran Park’s flagship sire Skyvalley from the Victoria Derby, Breed For Speed and La Coocaracha winner Jingling Silver 1:58.4 ($191,322).

Another of the Aldebaran Eagle entry is Lot 263, Aldebaran Demi, a half-sister to the Breeders Crown 2YO Final winner Kyvalley Kyrie ($80,241) and the $140,000 earner Fear Not, being out of the classics-winning Dream Vacation mare Aldebaran Maori.

A second Skyvalley youngster is Lot 274, Aldebaran Anton, the first colt out of the Bathurst Gold Coronet winner Backina Lifetime (Tr 1:59.9), the winner of 13 races and $70,053).

Lot 307, named Aldebaran Banks, is a lovely colt by the Hambletonian winner Trixton out of Sundon’s Babe NZ, a daughter of the former NZ trotting queen Merinai. He’s a half-brother to Aldebaran Shelly, who won three of his only seven starts including the Maori Legend.

Aldebaran Daphne (Lot 260), an Aldebaran Eagle filly, completes the Aldebaran Park draft at the sale. From a family chockfull of smart trotters, the brown filly is closely related to the talented filly Majestic Dream, a heat winner ands runner-up in the Group 2 final of the Vicbred Platinum Sprint Championship.
