Returning to New Zealand for the first time in eight years, the Auckland Trotting Club are this year’s IRT sponsored Interdominions Championship hosts.
Christchurch (NZ) based travel agency Holland, Clarke and Beatson (HCB) are offering three tour durations (17 or 10 nights or Grand Finals weekend packages) for the 2019 Interdominion Championships being held at Alexandra Park between Friday 29 November to Saturday 14 December 2019 (tours run from Thursday 28 November ending on Sunday 15 December 2019).
Featuring both Pacing and Trotting heats and Grand Finals, all transfers, accommodation (various options available), tours/functions and specified meals/drinks are included in the tour costs. Air Travel bookings can also be arranged by HCB.
Already over forty patrons have booked tour packages but tour places remain available for anyone who has not yet booked or is contemplating booking. You would be advised to register your interest, confirm your booking and make the required payments IMMEDIATELY to avoid disappointment as final bookings need to be made by 30 September 2019 to secure your place.

- Grand Final Barrier Draw function on Sunday 8 December at Alexandra Park – the
Barrier Draw event is a Grazing Brunch event (grazing brunch, welcome drink on arrival, tea/coffee in The Elsu at the Alex Bar and Eatery leading out to the Parade Ring featuring casual table seating and leaners
- Michael Guerin will be MC running the Draw with special guests Brian Hancock and Charlie Hunter attending
- Father Brian Glasheen (Pacing Priest) will be blessing the colours
- Pricing including return transport costs of $95 per person
- Timing is 10.30am – 12.30pm
- Breckon Farms – Tuesday 10 December, I Can Doosit who will lead out the Trotters Grand Final field on Saturday 14 December will be paraded
