2019 ELITLOPPET AND WORLD DRIVERS CHAMPIONSHIP TOUR
Solvalla Raceway – Elitloppet Weekend
Equi Tours Sweden, have arranged a tour incorporating both Elitloppet weekend (Solvalla Raceway) and the 2019 World Drivers Championships. The full tour runs from Thursday 23 May 2019 – until departures either on Saturday 1 June or later should you wish.

Your final opportunity to book you place on this year’s Elitloppet and World Drivers Championship tour is NOW. Bookings can only be accepted until 20 March 2019 (extended from 28 February) at the very latest. Tour places remain available but you would be advised to register your interest, confirm your booking and make the required payments IMMEDIATELY to avoid disappointment. Note – restaurant bookings for Elitloppet Weekend cannot be guaranteed after 28 February at latest and will then need to be “on application” basis (no guarantees).
Drivers for the championships are subject to final confirmation by the Swedish authorities. Those for New Zealand (decision imminent) and Sweden in particular that will be advised as soon as they are available. The listing below could be subject to change :

Those drivers indicated with an * have attended previous World Championships.
The Drivers programme consists of twenty four heats spread across six race meetings at five different racetracks. The championship series begins at Solvalla Raceway, Stockholm, Friday 24 May (four heats) and Saturday 25 May (1 heat on Sweden Cup Day. Drivers then have a “free day” to take in Elitloppet Day on Sunday 26 May) before moving to Lindesberg on Monday 27 May (five heats). Next up is Eskilstuna on Tuesday 28 May (five heats), Rattvik on Wednesday 29 May (four heats) before the 31 May finale at Gävle (five heats).
Details of the ”non racing” activities planned during the week Monday 27 May – Friday 31 May will be availabke in the next few weeks – a programme of daily events are planned.
Join your fellow countrymen and women from Australia, New Zealand, Canada and France (confirmed bookings to date) to support your countries drivers and those from other nations represented at the 2019 World Drivers Championships together with taking in the activities around Elitloppet weekend. This will be your only opportunity to experience both Elitloppet weekend and the World Drvers Championship in one week of outstanding harness racing. This great spectacle is but three months away.
