As previously advised, the 2019 World Drivers Championships (WDC) are being held in Sweden late May 2019 in conjunction with the annual running of the Elitloppet (Solvalla Raceway), Europe’s premier trotting sprint event (mile heats followed by a final on same afternoon).
Equi Tours Sweden, have arranged a tour incorporating both Elitloppet weekend and the 2019 World Drivers Championships. The full tour runs from Thursday 23 May 2019 – until departures either on Saturday 1 June or later should you wish.

To confirm your place on this tour it is highly recommended that you advise the required details to Marie Nyberg at info@equitours.se as soon as possible especially should you require restaurant seating on either Sweden Cup or Elitloppet days (bookings must be confrmed by 2 February at the latest).

- European representatives resulting from European Driving Championship held in Norway (Bjerke)/Sweden (Aby) 27/8 June 2018 with leading six drivers being :

- Michael Nimczyk (Germany) *
- Mika Forss (Finland) *
- Rodney Gatt (Malta)
The European Championship for Drivers was founded in 1969 and is run in alternate years to the World Driving Championship.
Those drivers indicated with an * have attended previous World Championships.
The New Zealand representative will be announced following a board meeting of Harness Racing New Zealand on 12 February whilst no time frame is available at present concerning when the Australian representative will be advised.
Join with the Australians, New Zealanders and Canadians who have already indicated they are attending these major world harness racing events in Sweden. Support your countries drivers and those from the other nations represented at the 2019 World Drivers Championships together with taking in the activities around Elitloppet weekend. This will be your only opportunity to experience both Elitloppet weekend and the World Drvers Championship in one week of outstanding harness racing. This great spectacle is now only four months distant.
