Think About Me joins Pizzuto

Promising three-year-old Think About Me has been sold out of the All Stars barn and will do his future racing in Australia.

The grandson of broodmare gem Scuse Me has joined the stable of Kevin Pizzuto in Sydney.

“We’ve sold him to Danny Zavitzanos,” said Paul Kenny, son-in-law of Think About Me’s breeder and former owner, Charles Roberts.

Zavitzanos is also a client of Mark Purdon and Natalie Rasmussen’s, owning star trotter Enhance Your Calm and War Dan Delight.

Think About Me contested the Sires Stakes Final on New Zealand Cup day at just his second start and resumed from a spell with an Addington win on June 29.

He was beaten a short margin in the Breeders Crown heat there on July 13 by Diamonds N Cash.

McNally outed over improper driving

Canterbury reinsman Stephen McNally has had his license suspended until August 12 after being found guilty of an improper driving charge.

McNally defended the charge, brought by the Racing Integrity Unit, after his drive on Star Pride at Addington on June 14.

When under pressure rounding the final bend, Star Pride shifted from the marker line to a one-out position, allowing Heavenly Love to get underneath it.

Heavenly Love finished on in to fifth, a stake-bearing position.

Both horses are trained by Murray Edmonds.

The Judicial Control Authority considered the charge, and McNally’s defense, but found it proven and suspended his license.
