It’s with sadness that we announce Lombo Silhouette has passed away only hours after arriving at her new home in central NSW, She was purchased on Sunday from the Soho reduction sale which took place at Robert Watson’s property at Toolern Vale.
Lombo Silhouette a $92,528 winning mare was by Troublemaker USA $1,112,103 a great son of Most Happy Fella, however her real strength came from her Dam line, as she was from that super mare Decethree Lombo.
Lombo Silhouette has a half brother Lombo Skyrider who won over $840,000 and was named Australian 2yo Pacer of the year.
www.harnessbred.com has been told, she was booked to Roll With Joe for this season, it’s a missed opportunity as we think this cross was right on the money.
We haven’t been able to contact the Watson’s or the new owner for a comment however we do hope both parties have been able to worked out a fair outcome from a very disappointing event.
