HOW would you like to own an A G Hunter Cup?
Well, Sunday’s Ladbrokes Australian Pacing Gold Sale could be your chance.
Not only will four APG eligible pacers contest Saturday night’s edition of the prestigious Group One at Melton, three of them have siblings ready to enter the sales ring the following morning.
Each of the ‘Fab Four’ has enjoyed Group One success, with Bling It On the defending Hunter Cup champion.
Messini, which has drawn barrier four for trainer Brent Lilley, is the odd one out as he does not have a sibling in the sale.
Expected to gain a good passage from gate two in the Cup, Bling It On will have his younger brother go under the hammer as Lot 57.
The colt is by American Ideal from Alldatglittersisgold, which is also the dam of Miracle Mile winner, Baby Bling.
Alldatglittersisgold boasts a perfect record from six starters.
Racing in sensational form this season, with seven wins and a third from eight starts, Shadow Sax has drawn barrier five in his pending Grand Circuit appearance.
Shadow Sax also has a brother in the sale, with the son of Shadow Play and Miss Saxony listed as Lot 165.
Miss Saxony can also lay claim to a terrific record as a matron, with six winners from seven starters.
Fresh from his Ballarat Cup triumph a fortnight ago, Heaven Rocks has fared the worst in the draw and will come from gate nine.
By Rock N Roll Heaven, Heaven Rocks has a half-brother in the sale, Lot 156.
The colt is by Sportswriter from Mendelico, which is a Group Two winner.
