Harness racing participants should circle the 10th and 11th of February on their calendars as a must NOT miss weekend.
On Saturday 10th February the Gawler Harness Racing Club will host their only meeting for the year at Globe Derby Park. The meeting will be full of feature races including the D.F& E Kemp & Son 2018 Gawler Gold Cup ($14500), the Podiatry Care Gawler Hambletonian Trotters Cup ($10000), the Valley Horse Transport Gawler Derby ($10000) and the Rivergum Lodge 2018 Kindergarten Stakes ($15000).
On Sunday 11th February the 2018 Allwood Stud Farm SA Yearling Sale will be conducted at the Magic Millions complex, Morphettville commencing at 12.05 pm.
33 outstanding lots will go under the hammer with a wonderful array of bloodlines available to suit all buyers tastes.
Trainers should make a weekend of it and bring their best fast class pacers and trotters along, with their top 3 year olds, to compete at what could be the last ever meeting to be conducted at Globe Derby Park by the Gawler Harness Racing Club – then on Sunday they can spend up big at the yearling sale and secure their champion of the future.
