With just over a month until the 2018 Yearling Sales in Karaka and Christchurch the serious task of promotion and inspection of bloodstock intensifies.
The sale will start this year at Karaka on Monday February 12, before moving to Christchurch on Tuesday February 13 at the Canterbury Agricultural Park.
The Christchurch sale will see a different two day format this year with the New Zealand Premier Sale Trotters session starting at 4pm on Tuesday 13th – parade at 11am that day.
The pacing session will commence at 10am on Wednesday 14th February, however the parade will be held the day prior, following the trotting yearling parade.
Bus tours have been organised around the country so those interested can view as many of the yearlings on offer as possible.
The Northern tour will be held on Monday 15 and Tuesday 16 January. Southland will hold their bus tour on Wednesday 31 January, and the Canterbury tour will be held on Monday 5 February.
