The Albion Park Harness Racing Club will play host to another strong 10 race program this Saturday night.
Gambling giant UBET are offering several jackpots throughout the program including a guaranteed $50,000 First 4 pool on the opening race plus a $10,000 jackpot.
The opening race has attracted an even field of 12 pacers with several in-form runners set to contest the UBET Pace over the sprint distance of 1660m.
The ideally drawn Karloo Ten Seventy will be looking to take full use of the perfect draw; a winner of 3 of his last 4 starts has been a massive improver since switching to the stables of Wayne Graham.
The Art Major gelding is chasing back to back victories at headquarters following his triumph in 1:54.3 last start.
Others to consider include Written In Red, The Smiler, Croft Bay, Likeallofus, Annika Magic and Village Witch.
Another highlight is race 8 on the program, the ‘Remembering Paka Star Open Pace over the distance of 1660m.
Triple Queensland Horse of the Year Avonnova will be handled for the first time by Pete McMullen; the free-legged star will be looking to bounce back following his loss last week behind Major Cam.
Paka Star, trained by Brian Hall and driven by Roy Gon-Chee proved to be a perennial performer at Albion Park during the mid-1980’s.
The $15,540 Kevin & Kay Seymour Rising Stars Championship also looks an extremely open affair following the barrier draw.
Heat winners on Tuesday were The Charging Moa and Machin Out while others to be considered include Onedin Highlander, Outlaw Fella, Summertime Lizzie, Make A Statement, Lancelot Bromac and Feel The Courage among others.
The Rising Stars Finals is listed as race 2 on the card – the opening leg of the UBET Quadrella.
A Quaddie jackpot of $5000 is also slated; the quaddie will be staged on races 2, 3, 4 & 5.
And a treble jackpot of $5000 is programmed; the treble will be staged on races 3, 4 & 5.
UBET have also slated $1000 jackpot First 4 pools on races 3 through to 10.
