Empire Stallions Vicbred Super Series continues tonight with the three-year-old heats at Kilmore and Marg Lee’s stable again figures prominently.

The Terang trainer will have four go around tonight, all to be driven by son Jason.

“It’s always an exciting time of year the Vicbred and we’ve got a few in it, which is nice,” Jason Lee told TrotLine ahead of tonight’s nine-race card, which features wall-to-wall Vicbred heats.

Of Lee’s chances, Keayang Secret (gate two) was the only one to draw the front row and the gun young reinsman said she was the stable’s best chance of taking maximum stakes.

“She’s probably the best winning chance out of our four tonight,” he said. “She had a bit of a mishap around the (Victoria) Oaks time and didn’t quite run up to what we would have liked, but did a fair bit of work in that race too. She’s back firing and hopefully she will be there in the finish.”

Lee also shared with TrotLine listeners his expectations for colts and geldings Keayang Da Vinci, Jilliby Chevy and Jilliby Kung Fu, including which of his runners was most likely to give the series a shake.
