Harness Racing Victoria (HRV) was saddened to learn of the passing of renowned horseman Harold “Skipper” Sciberras last week.
Mr Sciberras, loving husband to Shirley for 62 years and father to Lynette and Mark, passed away on May 23 at the age of 83.
Mr Sciberras will have a private funeral and in lieu of flowers the family has asked donations to be directed to Mercy Palliative Care.
Action After Dark, a 17-time winner, was regarded as Mr Sciberras’ best horse.
