The first weanling filly by glamour New Zealand pacer Auckland Reactor ever to go up for public auction will spearhead a strong contingent of weanlings at the Soho Standardbreds Reduction Sale, to be conducted by Graeme Board & Company at Tamarin Park, Toolern Vale on Sunday, July 26, starting at 12 noon.
The filly is out of the Western Terror mare Soho Bordeaux, whose dam, Lombo Portrait (by Perfect Art) was placed in Group and Listed events in three States.
The catalogue boasts three weanlings by Hall of Fame sire Somebeachsomewhere including a colt out of the former Australian 2YO of the Year Pelicanrama and a colt from the 1:57 Art Major mare Soho Winslet.
One of the most attractive lots at the sale will be the colt by current leading two-year-old sire Rock N Roll Heaven out of the multiple Group and classics winner Cornsilk, the dam of five sub 1:58 winners headed up by the brilliant filly Delight Me.
There’s a pair of Mach Three weanlings colts listed, one out of the million dollar winning Fake Left mare Miss Galvinator (1:50.6), who is a half-sister to the great Fleur De Lil, and the other out of the Gloucester Park winner Hear No Secret.
Sportswriter, whose first two crops are going great guns at the present, is represented by a filly from the immediate family of the Hunter Cup winner Arden Rooney and a colt out of the successful D M Dilinger mare Sheng Li.
Champion sire Bettor’s Delight has a filly out of Lombo Silhouette, a Troublemaker mare closely related to Lombo Pocket Watch and Suave Stuey Lombo, while Roll With Joe, the USA 3YO of the Year and Meadowlands Pace winner, is represented by a colt from a winning Mach Three mare, Soho Nike.
Other weanling colts are by successful sires Elsu, Blissfull Hall and the USA 2YO of the Year Village Jolt.
