Another great program of racing is scheduled for Albion Park this Saturday night.
The first of eight races scheduled to commence at 5.03pm, gates will open at 4pm and as always, its free entry.
Highlights include several even and competitive metropolitan events plus an intriguing open class event, the Sure Products Pace will be staged over the middle distance of 2138m.
Ideal Scott, a former winner of the state’s biggest event, the now defunct Queensland Pacing Championship showed his class with a comfortable all the way victory last week over the 1660m defeating several of the same rivals he meets again this weekend.
Ideal Scott starts from gate six.
His stablemate Mach Alert caught the eye last week finishing strongly for second in his first run back from a break and looks the testing material after drawing nicely in gate four.
Both Ideal Scott and Mach Alert are prepared by Ian Gurney.
Perennial Albion Park performer Caesars Folly will prove tough opposition following his gritty victory at this track last week when sitting without cover.
Gambling giant UBET are offering several jackpots throughout the program including a guaranteed $50,000 First 4 pool on the opening race plus a $10,000 jackpot.
A guaranteed Quadrella pool of $20,000 is also programmed; the quaddie will be staged on races 2, 3, 4 & 5.
Again, the quaddie legs look open with several even races assembled meaning punters will get great value.
Last week, the UBET quaddie dividend paid a whopping $18,681.90.
UBET also have a $10,000 guaranteed trifecta pool slated for race three.
