Harness Racing Victoria was saddened to hear of the recent passing of long serving administrator Stan Healy.
Mr Healy passed away on 16 December 2016 at 91 years of age. He was Secretary of the Ouyen Harness Racing Club from 1971 until his retirement from the role in 2001.
He also served as a Committee member prior to his appointment as Secretary and was involved in the industry as a breeder, owner, trainer and driver.
Mr Healy was a Life Member of the Ouyen Harness Racing Club and was acknowledged for his contribution to the Victorian harness racing industry when awarded the Distinguished Service Medal in 2001.
