The Albion Park Harness Racing Club will play host to a strong ten race program this Saturday night.
And again punters have the chance to win big with gambling giant UBET offering a massive $200,000 guaranteed trifecta pool on the opening race.
Yes, a guaranteed $200,000 trifecta pool!
The Supporting Qld Racing? UBET Pace will be staged over the 1660m and features several speedy types including the ideally drawn Livinthehighlife looming as a legitimate threat after landing the inside gate for trainer Donny Smith and driver Chris Petroff.
The 13 times Albion Park winner has been placed at his past two starts and looks the likely leader so he will command plenty of respect, consistent performer Jester Oh Jester has drawn directly behind him and will also carry strong support.
Prepared by Jack Butler, Jester Oh Jester caught the eye last week when hitting the line nicely behind Iamboogie in solid time.
Other to consider include Polished Rocks, Queen Of Hats, Iamboogie, Onlykidding, Major Command and Always Prompt.
Another highlight on the program is the recently crowned Queensland Trotter of the Year Our Overanova lining up off a gigantic handicap of 60m in the final event, the Mercedes Benz Toowong Trotters Handicap over the staying trip of 2647m.
The Grant Dixon trained gelding scored a narrow yet decisive victory at his most recent start when overcoming a 50m handicap.
Our Overanova is being aimed at next month’s feature, the Gr.2 $40,000 Darrell Alexander Memorial Trotting Championship series which kicks off on December 2.
A guaranteed Quadrella of $20,000 is also programmed; the quaddie will be staged on races 2, 3, 4 & 5.
Again, the quaddie legs look open with several even races assembled meaning punters will get great value.
Last week, the UBET quaddie dividend paid in excess of $1500.
UBET also have a $10,000 guaranteed trifecta pool slated for race three.
