Harnessbred.com was saddened to learn of the passing of Dorothy Hando over the weekend at the age of 94.
Mrs Hondo with her late husband Eric ran Rosewood Stud – near Peak Hill.
In the 1970’s Rosewood Stud imported stallions Sheer Genius, Quick Return and TarportBill, a Thorpe Hanover stallion who was highly successful at stud leaving 336 winners, the best being Bills Student & Royal Three.
Mrs Hondo funeral will be at 3pm on Friday June 10 at St Stephens, Peak Hill.
