Dani Hill has overcome adversity and sheer hard work has taken her to the top of her sport on Monday at Globe Derby she drove a career high five winners
Hill who took her season tally to 160 wins, she was successful onPresidentmach(by Mach Three), Outback Madge (The Pres), Cromac Jamie (Falcon Steelster) , The Stork (Lis Mara) and Amightyfinehorse (Ponder).
Hill 160 wins surpasses her previous best of 135 wins last season and with 36 meetings still to be held this season the 200 mark is within Dani Hill’s reach.
Apart from the five winners on Monday Dani Hill drove a treble at Port Pirie on Friday night with Myrafiki (WilcosKrosby), her favourite horse Whats Emma Got (Grinfromeartoear) and Lost In Bangkok(Somebeachsomewhere).
Only two winners on Saturday night at Globe Derby with Frostyflyer(Jermes Jet) and Onedin Hustler (Village Jasper).
While a long way off Kerryn Manning’s record of 371 in the 2002/03 season, Hill achievement this season puts her right up there with Australia’s best drivers.
Manning has driven 6 winners on the program three times, but Hill joins Amanda Turnbull, Lauren Panella, Lola Weidemann, Kate Gath(who achieved five winners at Port Pirie Cup meeting this season) and Jodi Quinlan to drive five winners on the program.
