With six drives locked in at Goulburn today, Jack Callaghan is ready to add to his growing record.
Callaghan reached 500 career wins with Madrid at Riverina Paceway last Friday, in a heat of the Riverina Championship with the $100,000 final to take place this Saturday.
Callaghan made it 501 wins when victorious with Peaceful in the Gold Easter Egg at Menangle on Saturday night.
Peaceful, a daughter of Sweet Lou and former top race mare Frith, had her first start under the guidance of trainer Belinda McCarthy whom Callaghan has three drives for today. This includes former New Zealand mare Cover Girl.
The $190,717 earner has not raced since a heat of the Victoria Oaks at Melton last October.
